The artiste was accompanied by his lawyer Peter Cham-pagnie when he turned himself in to the police, who conducted a question and answer session.

The police said Davion Bailey, 27, otherwise called ‘Burro’ was gunned down at the recording studio by unknown assailants.

It is reported that the shooting followed an altercation at the studio between its producer and persons connected to Gyptian.

The dispute reportedly stemmed from the producer’s attempt to get the artiste to record a song.

Gyptian’s refusal to do so is said to have fuelled the conflict.

Gyptian is best known for hits such as “Hold Yuh”, “Nah Let Go”, “Serious Times”, and “I Can Feel Your Pain”.
