George Robinson will truly be missed

Dear Editor,

It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Mr. George Robinson  who died on Sunday, October, 9 2011 on his way to the United States for medical treatment. I wish to take this opportunity to extend my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Mr. Robinson was one of the most thoughtful, generous, modest, and kind men I have been privileged to know for over a decade and was a good friend to me and my family He lived the Christian faith and values that undergirded his long rich life. Peace, love and justice were his trademark.

However, on reflection on his life today  I can only say one thing of him, it is that if awards were given for being the most humble person on earth I am sure that Mr. Robinson would have had a warehouse full of trophies and ribbons. He was indeed a fine and humble person and was loved by all who have came into contact with him during his life and he will truly be missed not only  by his family members but at  his workplace and the entire congregation of St. Paul’s Anglican Church.

May his soul rest in rest in peace

Yours faithfully,
Rayvonne P. Bourne
