Pol favoured after dominating first two stages

After two stages of the National Sports Commission (NSC) three-stage cycling race Yosmani Pol of Team Coco, from Miami, is the leader with Warren ‘Forty’ Mc Kay of Team Guyana in second.

Pol won the first and second stages, which began at 07:30 and 14:20 hours respectively, from Corriverton to New Amsterdam and Rosignol to Carifesta Avenue. He has the leading time of 1:38.21; Mc Kay recorded 1:38.24.

Other riders registering fast times and bonus points are Team Guyana’s Robin Persaud (1:38.26) and Real Cyclists.com’s Frank Travieso, of Miami, (1:38.28). Raymond Newton, Phillip Clarke and Christopher Gill of Heat Wave Club in Trinidad & Tobago, all recorded a time of 1:38.31.

Yosmani Pol crossed the line ahead of Warren ‘Forty’ Mc Kay yesterday for the National Sports Commission Three-stage race.

Alonzo Greaves registered a time of 1:40.33 while Godfrey Pollydore and Ruiz Cedar of Suriname rounded out the top ten riders. 
The final stage is today from Kara Kara, Linden Highway to Homestretch Avenue from 08:30 hours.
