LONDON, England, CMC – World champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was handed a solid defeat ahead of her title defence in Daegu later this month, when American Carmelita Jeter won the 100 metres at the Aviva London Grand Prix on Saturday. The Jamaican Fraser-Pryce started well but faded in the latter stages to finish third in 11.10 seconds, as Jeter took the victory in 10.93 seconds on the second and final day of the 12th Diamond League meet at Crystal Palace.
