Head selector Nazimul Drepaul yesterday named Guyana’s female under-19 team for practice matches against a Trinidad Women’s Under-19 side on September 10 and 11.
National all-rounder Akazae Thompson has been named as skipper while senior players Joan Van Sertima and Nicole Leacock who are over age 19 have been named also since Trinidad requested the strongest possible youth side in order to maximize the competitiveness of the practice encounters.
