HQ successfully defends title

National cricketer Trevor Benn proved to be the star of the Guyana Police Force’s Inter-Division Twenty20 final as he blasted Headquarters to a comprehensive  victory over G Division in yesterday’s final at the Police Sports Club ground.

Batting first, Benn blasted the G Division bowlers to all parts of the field on his way to the top score of 84. He received support in the form of sibling Troy who chipped in with a useful 35 as Headquarters were dismissed for 200 in 19.2 overs.
