Golden Jaguars team gains further corporate support

Guyana’s senior national football team the “Golden Jaguars” yesterday received further support from the business community, ahead of the team’s two crucial home and away CONCACAF 2014 World Cup qualifiers, against Trinidad and Tobago on November 11 and 15 at the Providence and Hasely Crawford Stadiums, respectively.

At a simple handover ceremony at the Kashif and Shanghai (K&S) headquarters on Irving Street, undisclosed financial donations by Senobia Butcher of “Café Paradise and Kids Closet” and Operations Manager of Canadian Fast Food Franchise “Dixie Lee” – Leonard Faeber, were made to the national side.

K&S Chief Executive Office Kashif Muhammad, thanked the two companies for their support of the country’s footballers and further urged other organisations to come on board.
