Heat guard House fined $25,000 for obscene gesture

NEW YORK, (Reuters) – Miami Heat guard Eddie House  has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for making what was deemed an  obscene gesture during Sunday’s game against the Oklahoma City  Thunder, the league said yesterday.

House made the objectionable gesture with his hands by his  groin after making a critical three-point shot with 22 seconds  left in a 108-103 victory over the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

The 32-year-old, 10-year veteran made a similar gesture  after converting the deciding two free throws in Friday’s 88-87  victory in Detroit against the Pistons but was not sanctioned,  Florida’s Sun-Sentinel newspaper reported.
