Rooplall’s 135 gives Better Hope highest team score in Kares Tapeball tournament

Ricknauth Rooplall stroked 135 runs not out to lead Better Hope XI to the highest team score in the Kares Tapeball tournament to date against Combine Warriors last weekend at the Ogle Community Ground. According to a press release, in the second weekend of the competition with close to 190 matches completed, the Lower East Coast Zone came alive as Rooplall blasted some 19 sixes and two fours on his way to the highest individual score of the tournament.

Chris Patadin who partnered with Rooplall slammed 48 runs in an entertaining partnership of 200 runs. The partnership saw Better Hope scoring the highest team score of 218 for 3 in the tournament which seemed to damper the spirits of their opponents. In reply, Combine Warriors never got off the ground as they were bundled out for 58 in 8 overs. Meanwhile in contrast
