The softball cricket fraternity has organized a benefit game for Royston Ramsarran former organizing secretary of the Guyana Softball Cricket Association (GSCA).
Ramsarran has been one of the pioneers of softball cricket and has served the sport tirelessly for over 30 years said Samuel Kingston one of the persons behind today’s benefit game and a softball cricketer himself.
Two matches are scheduled for today at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground Bourda beginning at 9.30am.
The first game will pit Floodlights XI against Regal Masters and that match will be followed by Park Rangers opposing Savage Masters.
Kingston said special thanks must also go out to Floodlights and Regal teams for assisting in making the event possible.
