Jacques retains Pele FC Presidency

Community Pharmacist Practitioner Cecil `Cary’  Jacques was returned unopposed as president of  Pele Football club when the club held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday at the Water Chris Hotel, Waterloo Street.

Prior to the nominations, Jacques, a former national goalkeeper  gave  his 2009/2010 report which highlighted the club’s achievements administratively and on the pitch, challenges faced and his future desire for the club.

He reported that R&F Mining Limited was accorded the Gold Sponsor for their unwavering support during the period under review.

Heartfelt gratitude was also expressed to DeSinco Trading Ltd, Pharmagen Enterprises, Meditron and New GPC other corporate sponsors who supported with donations at Kashif & Shangai.

Past player Allister Parris was also among those thanked for the support contributed to the team over that period.

The first Vice President is  Dr. Ravi Persaud, second Vice President – Lennox Graham, Secretary – Robbie Rambarran, Treasurer – Anthony Frederick, Technical Director – Gordon Braithwaite and Captain – Travis Grant.

The four nominated Committee Members are Ian Erskine, Alexander Best, Mark Laing and Roxanne Keith.
