The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2100h last night on Paradise Public Road, Essequibo Coast, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Raymond Shamlall, 32 years, of Plantation Phillips, Essequibo Coast.

New Chinese Ambassador accredited

New Chinese Ambassador to Guyana His Excellency Zhang Limin presented his Letters of Credence to President Donald Ramotar on Monday and vowed to continue the “time honoured” friendship which the two countries have been sharing over the last four decades, the Government Information Agency (GINA) has reported.
