Dexter Wills, of Lot 20 Prospect, East Bank Demerara yesterday appeared before Magistrate Allan Wilson to answer charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking
The court heard that on February 22, Wills, 42, was rounded up with several other persons with the suspicion of their involvement with narcotics and 46 grammes of cannabis were found in his possession
The prosecution said that the cannabis was found in several Ziploc bags, which were concealed in a white plastic bag and hidden in the accused’s crotch. The prosecution asked that bail be refused.
After listening to the case, Magistrate Wilson refused bail for and ordered Wills to return to court on March 13
