Berbicians turned out in their numbers on Sunday, to witness and participate in the Mashramani parade held in New Amsterdam.
The parade which started at 13:00 hrs at Tacoma Park, Stanleytown ended at the New Amsterdam stelling road.
It saw participation from a number of bands such as Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, Banks DIH Limited and Ansa Mc Al among others.
Supporters rated the event as better than last year’s. Mashramani 2012 was celebrated under the theme ‘Mashin with Pride Keepin we Traditions alive’.
