Police say that at about 2300h last night, Gregory Beckles, 41 years of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was about to enter his home when he was confronted by two men, one of whom discharged a round at him and escaped.
Beckles was shot to his left hand and was treated at the GPHC and sent away. Investigations are in progress.
