Police say that further to a press release made yesterday in relation to an alleged abduction and robbery committed on Joel Ali, a clerk attached to H. Nauth and Sons Construction Company, investigations have revealed that the report is false and the alleged incident was staged by the “victim”. The sum of $2.1 million has been recovered by the police.
The victim and two other men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
