The police then went in pursuit of the men who were eventually caught. However, the articles were not found on them when they were apprehended.

The prosecution objected to bail, stating that the two men are known to the police and are frequently seen in the vicinity of the Stabroek Market where a number of robberies are committed. The matter will continue on March 28.
