(Trinidad Guardian) A 30-year-old man has appeared in court charged with 17 counts of sexual assault on an 11-year-old girl. Ricardo Daryl Martinez, of Guyana, was refused bail and remanded in custody when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Lucina Cardenas-Ragoonanan in the Arima Magistrates’ Court.
The accused is expected to reappear in court on Monday.
