Police say that at about 1440h on March 27, 2012, ranks of a roving police patrol conducted a search on a shop at Butterfly Landing, NWD, during which an unlicensed .38 Colt revolver with 6 rounds was found. A man was arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
And at about 2000h on March 28, 2012, police ranks responded to a report of threats at Anarika, Essequibo River, during which an unlicensed 12 gauge shotgun and 8 cartridges were recovered.
