Others may follow Shanique Myrie to CCJ

(Barbados Nation) Next Wednesday’s preliminary hearing of the case Jamaican Shanique Myrie brought against the Barbados Government could lead other Caribbean nationals to follow in her footsteps.

Justice Jacob Wit made the comment yesterday as the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) turned its attention to the high-profile matter.

The CCJ, for the first time since its inauguration almost seven years ago, will be sitting outside of its Port of Spain, Trinidad headquarters.

The Myrie case will be argued before the CCJ in the Supreme Court of Barbados.
