Scalped body of man found at No.56

Police say that at about 0740h yesterday, the body of a so far unidentified man was found at the foreshore at No.56 Village, Corentyne, with the scalp missing and other injuries to the body.

Police say that the victim is of fair complexion, about 5’ 7” in height, with a silver ring on the left ring finger and clad in multi-coloured shorts.

The body is at the Skeldon Hospital mortuary.
