An accident on the Linden Highway early yesterday morning has left one injured and another in a critical condition at the Georgetown Hospital.
Delney Dehnert, 21, and of John and Hadfield streets is said to be in a critical condition while his female friend is said to be in a stable condition at the institution. The friend was earlier named as Jocelle Archibald but Stabroek News has been advised that this is incorrect. SN regrets the error and any inconvenience caused.
Details of the accident are sketchy, but according to some of the victims’ relatives, the duo were heading to Georgetown after the Linden town day weekend when the car Dehnert was driving collided with a truck.
