Evicted passenger died of TB

An autopsy performed on the remains of Kelroy Kazer, who died after he was evicted from a Route 32 minibus, after he appeared to be sick on Sunday, revealed that he died from Tuberculosis.

The finding was confirmed by his common-law wife Anita Jacobis.

Kazer of Paramakatoi was found in the vicinity of the Aracari Resort, Versailles, on the West Bank of Demerara on Sunday last, after residents alerted police.

Kazer was in a minibus travelling from Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo to Georgetown and complained of shortness of breath and tightness in the stomach. The minibus was then stopped and Kazer was asked to exit and he died subsequently.

He was laid to rest yesterday.
