Murdered Enmore guard had fractured skull – PME

A post-mortem examination performed on the remains of security guard Rudolph Narine of F1 Logwood, Enmore revealed that he died as a result of a fractured skull and a wound to his neck.

Crime Chief Seelall Persaud had said last week that several persons were in police custody assisting with the investigations into the man’s death. He clarified that the 11 persons in custody, as reported in sections of the media, were not all being detained in connection with the murder but rather were in custody for various offences.

Seelall said they suspected the motive for the incident to be a robbery gone wrong.

The body of the 60-year-old Narine, called ‘Boy’, was discovered about 06:30 hrs last week Saturday at the R Ramlagan Grocery Store at 34 Logwood, Enmore, with his throat and his head showed signs of being battered. His mouth was gagged and his feet tied with a piece of rope.

Narine had been working at the grocery outlet as a watchman for the past two weeks and his body was discovered by his employer Ramgiwan Ramlagam.
