EZjet for Toronto

EZjet Airlines will soon operate flights between Guyana and Toronto, Canada after being granted approval to fly to the North American destination by the government.

According to a release from the Government Information Agency (GINA), Cabinet recently gave approval to the airline to operate a non-scheduled two-flight, weekly service between the two destinations.

Cabinet Secretary, Dr Roger Luncheon stated yesterday that the flights will be offered from June 15 for a year.

“EZjet has already received the approval and is currently operating non-scheduled flights five times weekly between New York and Georgetown…This approval introduced an element of competition that is serviced exclusively by Caribbean Airlines,” Luncheon stated.
