Man denies stealing car rearview mirror

Thirty-one-year-old Carl Cato was on Wednesday granted $15,000 bail by Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on a simple larceny charge.

Cato was accused of stealing one right side car rearview mirror, the property of Raphael Rose, on  Tuesday at the corner of North Road and Bourda.

After pleading not guilty to the charge Cato made an application for bail and Police Prosecutor Corporal Simone Payne had no objections.

The magistrate granted Cato bail and he was sent to Court One for report and fixture.
