BK int’l boss files $200M lawsuit against gov’t engineer Willis

Brian Tiwarie, Managing Director of BK International, has lodged a lawsuit for libel against Walter Willis, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Public Works seeking damages in excess of $200M for a letter authored by Willis on July 18th, 2012 alleging “fraudulent” practices by Tiwarie.

A release issued by Public Communications Consultants Limited said that in his letter to Tiwarie, Willis accused Tiwarie of “producing fraudulent results of surface water samples when in fact Mr Tiwarie had obtained those results lawfully from the Institute of Applied Science and Technology.”

Tiwarie said in the press release that the said libellous statement reflects on the honesty and reputation of his conduct and has affected him in the conduct of his affairs. He also contended that the statement is calculated to disparage him in his business operations and to cause him financial loss and damage.
