(Jamaica Observer) Attorney Clover Maxine Graham, 56, was found with her throat slashed in the middle of the field at the Caymanas Polo Club this morning.
Graham, who was also a UTech lecturer and UN representative, was from Spanish Town.
She went missing yesterday.
She was found after 6:00 this morning.
Graham was the mother of Taiwo McKenzie, one of two Good Samaritans killed in November 2008.
Two men were convicted for the murders.
They were said to have participated in the abduction and subsequent brutal murders of McKenzie and girlfriend Janelle Whyte, who had taken medicine, among other things, to the men following a motor vehicle accident.
During the week of November 4, 2008, Whyte and McKenzie were travelling together in a motor vehicle and met in an accident with Andre Ennis and George Cooper (later turned state witness), who were travelling along Border Avenue in St Andrew on a motorcycle. The men were taken by the couple to the University Hospital where they were treated and released.
The following day, it is alleged, arrangements were made for the couple to take medication and crutches to the injured men at an apartment in Havendale. However, the couple was never seen alive again after making the trip.
Their bodies were subsequently found on November 9 in bushes at Mount Salus, Red Hills, with their throats slashed. A third man, Shane Brown was convicted along with Ennis in June this year for the murders.
