At about 1630h yesterday, police say that Veeraj Persaud, 32 years, of Goed Fortuin, WBD, who was at Double Day Hotel and Bar at Tuschen, EBE, was shot to his left knee by a licensed firearm holder during an issue over a female.
Persaud has been admitted to hospital.
The licensed firearm holder has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations. The firearm has been seized by the police.
