“We giving them (investigators) information we have, but the police just not pursuing it. I don’t know why they waiting to arrest these people. They have information. The police is trouble. I don’t know where Trinidad heading,” he said.

An autopsy performed on Peters’ body at the Forensic Science Centre in St James yesterday found that he was stabbed 22 times.

Pathologist Hughvon des Vignes found that Peters was stabbed multiple times in the head, chest and back.

A six-inch kitchen knife was recovered near Peters’ body outside the Chaguanas market.

Peters, 19, was abducted and stabbed to death after attending a pool party in Chaguanas early Monday morning. Police said he was involved in a fight over a woman.

Peters was forced into a vehicle near Traxx Bar, Chaguanas, police said.

His bloodied body was found on the roadside near the market around 5.45 a.m.

Peters, a construction worker, lived at Bagaloo Trace, Enterprise, Chaguanas.

Investigators said seven men were interviewed in connection with the murder and released. Officers were pursuing several leads last evening.
