Jennifer Chu-A-Kong and Shaleni Nauth yesterday received the certificates for the prizes they won at GuyExpo, an overnight stay at Baganara Island Resort and a trip for two to Kaieteur Falls at a ceremony held at Ogle Airport.
According to a press release, the two winners correctly answered questionson the location of Baganara and the exact height of Kaieteur Falls.
Meanwhile, the release also announced that the Correia Group of Companies’ Evergreen Adventures and Trans Guyana Airways had won the prize for ‘Best Small Booth’ at GuyExpo.
The release said the Correia Group’s consultant Frank Willison congratulated Marketing and Customer Services Supervisor of Evergreen Adventures Alvin Wilson and Commercial Supervisor of Trans Guyana Airways Trudy Wharton for the tremendous job they did in organizing the GuyExpo booth.
Evergreen Adventures organizes tours to Kaieteur and Baganara, inclusive of Orinduik, as well as tours to Suriname, French Guiana, Trinidad and Tobago and other destinations. Trans Guyana Airways does flights to Lethem, Annai, Karanambo, Imbaimadai, Chi Chi and Kamarang and does charters to several other hinterland and other domestic destininations. It also files to Suriname from Monday to Saturday.
