The celebration of the life of Cyril Shaw will be held at the National Cultural Centre, tomorrow, Tuesday 24th January at 2pm. The body will be laid for viewing from 1 pm, according to a release from his family.
Shaw died on January 12, 2012. He will be remembered as a pioneer in show business. As an entrepreneur, he promoted some of the world’s best performers including the Mighty Sparrow and was an active supporter and promoter of Guyanese sports especially boxing, matching Guyanese boxers with world class counterparts.
