With reference to the article titled `Eagles Resources rep on 12 counts of tax evasion,’ in the Saturday, April 28, 2012 edition, it was erroneously stated that the defendant was charged with tax evasion. The charges were related to the failure to file tax returns and not falsification of returns or records. Stabroek News regrets the error and apologises for any embarrassment that it may have caused.
