BV woman charged over ganja bag at Ogle

Samantha Charles, 25 years of 135 Canterbury Walk, Beterverwagting, ECD was yesterday charged with trafficking in narcotics committed on November 05, 2012, the police said.  She appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court before Magistrate Alex Moore and was placed on $400,000 bail.  She is to return to court on December 21, 2012.

Police said that Charles on Monday had given a bag to a man to send in on a flight to Ekereku for a relative. Ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch conducted a search of the bag at the Ogle Airport and found 460 grammes of marijuana, the police said.
