Ms Matthews, the secretary, told this newspaper that the organisation which caters for young women who have dropped out of school, offers training in child care, art and craft and food and nutrition. She also said that this is to empower the young ladies so that they can gain employment. A certificate is issued at the end of the two-year course.

Latisha Goodluck, a first year student at the organisation, said she has plans to go into business after she graduates.

Persons desirous of seeing or purchasing some of the items can go down to the YWCA building on Brickdam to make their orders.
