Providence man dies after struck with wood

The police say they are investigating the murder of Roopram Jagdeo, 38 years, of Providence, EBD, who died at the GPHC at about 1200h yesterday.

Jagdeo was involved in an argument with a man at Providence on December 20, 2012, during which he was struck to his head with a piece of wood.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
