Admitted to the Bar: Donna Lambert Bailey was on Thursday admitted to the Guyana Bar by Justice Brassington Reynolds following a petition by Attorney-at-law Nigel Hughes. According to a press release, Bailey obtained her secondary education at the North Georgetown Secondary School. After graduating she worked at the now defunct Guyana Airways Corporation as a flight attendant for a number of years. She then pursued studies in Social Work and Law at the University of Guyana where in 2007 she obtained a Bachelor of Social Science Degree with distinction. Bailey was also named the second best graduating student and was awarded with the Chancellor’s medal. In 2010, she obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree with credit from UG.
