Fruta Conquerors club lands Star Party rentals sponsorship

Fruta Conquerors will benefit from the assistance of Star Party Rentals for its upcoming Namilco Football Festival.

Company (NAMILCO) has pumped some $4m into the tournament’s staging.

On Thursday, Star Party Rentals, of 37 Craig Street, Campbellville, joined the “party” by adding its name to the sponsors’ who have decided to support the tournament.

Star Party Rentals, Chief Executive Officer, former national cricketer, Lennox Cush, will provide all the security lights and chairs for the competition which will be played at the Tucville Playfield.

According to Cush, the decision to support the tournament was motivated by his desire to give something back.

“Because of what sports has done for me I just could not turn my back on the tournament which also serves to provide constructive engagement and recreation for the youths as well as act as a catalyst for many of them to escape the fangs of poverty through the acquisition of on-field and general life skills to make it to the next level,” he declared.

Cush added that grassroots tournaments such as the Namilco festival are important as the provide opportunities for promising footballers to showcase their talent.

Colwin Cummings, of Star Party Rentals handed over a letter of commitment to Yannick Butler in the presence of Fruta Conquerors Captain Eon Alleyne, and players Dennis Edwards and Tavis Hackett.

Also present was President of the club Marlan Cole, who was instrumental in securing the sponsorship.

“We are happy for the support from Star Party Rentals,” said Cole adding… “Lennox Cush was very receptive and readily gave us the sponsorship.”

Some 15 clubs under the umbrella of the Georgetown Football Association and one invitational club, Banks DIH All Star will compete in the tournament.
