The Thomas United Football Club in conjunction with Winners Connection Mashramani Challenge Cup tournament which was scheduled to commence this afternoon with a double header at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground has been postponed to this Friday.
According to Oliver Hinckson, one of the organizers, the postponement was due to the waterlogged condition of the ground courtesy
of the recent inclement weather.
The tournament has been organized to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the Thomas United football club, one of the top football clubs in the city.
