Guyana remains steady at 92nd

* Jamaica - number one Caribbean football side

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad,  CMC – French Caribbean side Haiti have displaced Trinidad & Tobago, as the second ranked team in the Caribbean Football Union.

This follows the latest release of World Rankings by football’s World governing body, FIFA yesterday.

Haiti advanced nine places in the World rankings to 71st, placing them behind CFU top–ranked side Jamaica.

The Reggae Boyz have remained on top of the heap for the 15th straight month, moving up two places to be ranked at 50th in the World. Jamaica, the reigning Caribbean champions, are also third in North, Central America and Caribbean Confederation (CONCACAF) behind powerhouses United States and the second placed Panama.

T&T and Antigua & Barbuda are third and fourth respectively in CFU, following significant drops in the World rankings,

The twin-island republic, which debuted at the World Cup in Germany just six years ago, dropped seven places to 85th while the Antiguans plunged six places to 90th.

The CFU top five is completed by Guyana, who remained steady at 92nd in the World rankings.
