In a release on Thursday, the West Indies Cricket Board confirmed that the 40-year-old Brit would assume the role “on a tour by tour basis”.

He will play the supporting role to head coach Ottis Gibson.

Radford made a sudden departure from the Barbados-based HPC early last April, less than a year after he took over at the institution.

At the time, it was indicated that he had vacated the post in order to pursue a career as a batting coach in his native England.
Radford was replaced by Jamaican Andre Coley.
