The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Brainstreet sponsored limited overs Under-15 tournament will bowl off today with five matches.
The tournament is being used to assist the GCA in arriving at its team to compete in the upcoming Inter-Association Under-15 competition.
Matches will commence at 9.30am and the GCA said it will employ scorers for every game in an effort to standardize its matches as well as groom new scorers.
Clubs are also advised that the GCA will continue its Outreach Programme on Wednesday at the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) ground from 4pm.
The aim of the Outreach Programme is to enable coaches to maximise the space available at their venues for the development of each version of the game.
The GCA has also scheduled a one-day workshop for Curators (Groundsmen) from member clubs and other interested persons on Saturday at the Malteenoes Sports Club pavilion from 9am.

Clubs are also advised that the Competitions Committee of the GCA has set April 23 as the deadline for registering players for competitions in 2012.
