GT&T 10/10 softball tourney reaches Super16 stage

It’s down to the final 16 teams of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Limited 10/10 nationwide softball cricket competition.

Known as the Super16, four of the final 16 teams in the male category of the lucrative competition will be in action today at the Everest Cricket Club ground.

In the opening fixture, Bayrock Blazers will oppose Farm X1 while Rising Star Super Sixers will take on Mahaica Raiders.

In the female category, Trophy Stall Angels tackle Capoey Rising Star in the battle of the unbeaten teams while 4R Lioness will come up against Capoey Regal Warriors in the day’s other fixture.

The competition continues tomorrow at the Albion Community Development Centre ground.
The competition commenced in March with 826 male and 116 female teams participating.
