The Hadi’s nationwide male and female softball tournament organised by the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) has reached the quarter final stage in the male over-40 category.
This morning from 9.30am at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue in the male over-40 category on pitch number one, Never Lose will oppose Floodlights while from 1:30pm; Bedi Masters will oppose Essequibo Invaders.
On pitch number two from 9:30am, Park Rangers will tackle Savage Masters while from 1:30pm, Mahaica Masters will oppose Success Masters.
Other matches for the final preliminary round in the Open category will see Celebrity Times opposing Guru A at the Banana Land ground in Canje.
And, at the Carifesta Sports Complex, Pitch 1 at 9:30am, Renegade will take on Everest X1 while at 11:30am, Renegade will tackle Front Liners.
From 1:30pm, Everest X1 will play Front Liners while on Pitch 2 from 9:30am, El Commandante will play Pine Star and at 11:30am, Herstelling will oppose Destroyers. At 1:30pm, Fazal Kayume will play Pine Star.
The quarter finals in the male/female Open categories will be played next Saturday while the day/night finals are set for May 5 starting at 2:00pm.
