For tonight’s return leg, Shabazz said his team was not taking the opposition lightly.

“From what I saw they are putting in all their energies in the practice sessions that they had before tonight’s match which prepares them for the game and hopefully we will come out victorious,” he said.

Shabazz said that nevertheless he hopes that the Golden Jaguars will pull through tonight’s game which will automatically give the team a fairly good chance of remaining in the tournament and moving on to the next level.

President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Franklin Wilson SAID that the team has the ability to do its country proud and that is what is expected of them.

He also stated that the focus was not only placed on the sponsors and the coordinators but also on the fans that play the biggest role in the tournament.

“If it was not for the fans who come out to back and support our local teams then this tournament wouldn’t make no sense or it wouldn’t even exist, so we are calling on all our die hearted fans to come out and support,”Wilson said.

El Savador’s team manager Francisco Solis,  who spoke through an interpreter stated that although this was not the first time that his team will play against Guyana, they are eager and ready to take on the challenge. He added that both teams have excellent players.

Some of the sponsors on board for this tournament are Ansa Mc Al, Caribbean Airlines and Demerara Distilled Liters (DDL)  just to name a few.

Admission fee is $3000.
