Discipline Forces compete at seven-a-side football today in B/ce

Twelve teams will today compete in a specially arranged seven-a-side football match at the Blairmont Community Development Centre ground for the Commander of B Division trophy.

The event commences at 10am and the teams  in action will be  No1 Sub Division (New Amsterdam/ Canje), No2 Sub Division (Corentyne), No3 Sub Division (West Berbice), Felix Austin Police College `B’  Division, CID Berbice, Traffic Berbice,  Guyana Defence Force,  Guyana Fire Service, Guyana Prison Service, Strike Force United Youth Club of Ross Village, West Coast Berbice, Paragon Youth Club of Paradise, West Coast Berbice and the Monnederlust Youth and Sports Club.

The competition will be played on a knock out basis.

Incentives will be presented to the top three teams.

There will also be prizes for the most valuable player, the most goal scorer, the best goalkeeper and the most disciplined and best uniformed teams.

The event is being co-ordinated by Divisional Sports Officer and Officer in Charge of Sub Division No 3, Assistant Superintendent, Jairam Ramlakhan.
