Floodlights Uniss Yousuf scored a century as his team defeated Regal Masters by four wickets when the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) tournament sponsored by Mike’s Pharmacy, Ariel Enterprise, Trophy Stall, Ramchand Auto Spares, Survival, Motor Trend and Petama Enterprise continued on Sunday at various venues.
Yousuf struck an unbeaten 106 as Floodlights, replaying to Regal Masters 191 for nine off 20 overs, reached 192-7.
Regal Masters were indebted to Raymond Harper 57, Mahendra Hardyal 40 and Lance Adams 36 for their eventual total as Wayne Jones grabbed 3 for 30 and Ramchand Ragbeer 3 for 35.
Yousuf then struck his unbeaten ton and received support from Richard Persaud 25. Mahendra Arjune picked up 3 for 16.
