Marian Academy, Tucville Primary lead Courts Pee Wee football c/ships

Marian Academy and Tucville Primary with nine points apiece are leading the point standings of the Courts-sponsored Pee Wee Schools football championship.

The two schools, Marian Academy, which is in Group A and Tucville Primary of Group B, are undefeated since the tournament commenced three weeks ago.

Following Marian Academy is Ketley Primary with four points (one win, a draw and a loss), St. Pius on three points (one win and two draws) and St. Sidwell’s at the bottom of the group with one point from a draw and two defeats.

In Group B, St. Gabriel’s is in second place behind Tucville with six points after two wins and a loss, Sophia Primary  follows with  three points (one win and two defeats) while Green Acres are yet to give their school a point having lost all of their matches.

West Ruimveldt with seven points, lead Group C followed by St. Margret’s Primary with six points gained from two wins and a draw, F.E. Pollard on three points after one win and a two defeats and Success Elementary with one point after one draw and two defeats.
In Group D, North Georgetown and Redeemer Primary sit atop the group with seven points each.

However, North Georgetown has the advantage because of a one margin goal difference.

North Georgetown has scored five goals so far to Redeemer Primary’s four. Both teams have two wins and one draw.

Enterprise Primary follows with three points after one win and two defeats while South Ruimveldt Primary is yet to score a point after their three games.

The competition continues this weekend at the Banks DIH Limited, Thirst Park ground with eight teams contesting the quarterfinals.
