Back Circle, Leopold St for Guinness football final

Defending champion of the Guinness Greatest of the Streets Competition, Back Circle along with Leopold Street, won their respective semi final games, one-nil on Tuesday night at the National Cultural Centre tarmac and will battle for the $600,000 first prize when the final is staged on Saturday.

A goal off the boot by Wayne Wilson in the 17th minute for the defending champions, put paid to the hopes of Broad Street B of advancing to the final, while national midfielder, Konata Mannings, buried a penalty to give the Werk-en-Rust side the victory against West Front Road.

Broad Street B and West Front Road will both look to end the tournament on a positive note when they face off in the third place. The second, third and fourth place finishers, will pocket $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 respectively.
