K&S under-13 matches postponed

The preliminary matches in the Chico/Kashif and Shanghai (K&S) under-13 school’s football tournament which started on Sunday have been postponed due to inclement weather.

said the final preliminary matches which were scheduled for Christmas Day and Boxing Day will be played early next year.

“We couldn’t have continued the games because of the weather so we had to put them off until further notice,” Griffith told this newspaper. He said plans are in train to host the matches during the first week of January 2013 at the Georgetown Football Club Ground.
